Please accept my sincere apologies for this late notice of Munchkins in Logan Circle's 12th Annual Little Goblins Parade slated for Saturday October 28th at 1pm!
While we’ve enjoyed 11 wonderful years marching down P Street, it’s now time to pivot! You may also be aware of the wonderful ongoing renovations underway at Stead Recreation Park—it’s going to be fantastic! However, the renovations are not completed yet and it seems logical to have The Little Goblins Parade at a location that can provide space as well as a playground. So….this year’s Little Goblins Parade will be held just a few blocks down from Logan Circle at Garrison Elementary School! The Little Goblins will parade around the perimeter of the school and then move onto the school track and field for more parading, entertainment and activities. All our favorites (the New Orleans-style marching band, stilt walker, juggler, unicyclist, strolling magicians, caricature artists, Super Soccer Stars, etc.) will be there to celebrate!
Dear Stead Park community,
You've seen the amazing work-in-progress that is our Stead Park, with the renovations underway and expected to be complete this fall. As we prepare for a full re-opening of the space, the Friends of Stead Park are looking for community input about the best ways to have our neighborhood gem best serve the needs of our community.
Would you please take 5-10 minutes to share your thoughts? And then share this survey with other Stead Park users, neighbors, and supporters who can then share their thoughts?

Homeless Children's Playtime Project, Rainbow Families, and Friends of Stead Park are excited to participate in D.C.’s 2022 Capital Pride Parade, presented by Marriott International, on June 11, 2022, in Stead Park.
We will take over the Parade Family Area from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Stead Park’s playground, located at 1625 P St. NW, Washington, D.C., with face painting, games, and other fun family activities.
DC Central Kitchen will provide cooking demonstrations for families, and Foundry Church volunteers will offer Story Time and a much-appreciated Cooling Zone.
We are so grateful to the organizers of this wonderful D.C. event, which celebrates the LGBTQ community and families in all their forms, for giving each organization this opportunity to inform thousands of D.C. residents about the amazing work and services we provide to the DMV area.
We hope you will stop by on June 11 and join in the fun!
